iSelf 7.0.1 Needs An Update

With the release of the new iPhone 7 just around the corner, we are once again reminded that we need to update our devices. Hold on though, how often do we really need an update to our iPhones, smartphones, or any devices for that matter?
The fact is, we live in a disposable generation. No longer are devices, machines, or structures for that matter, built to last. Nearly everything created today is built with a shelf life. The faster innovation or creation gets, the more updates are needed. It is a chain reaction
Think about it, are you up for an update on ANYTHING??? My guess is yes.
Are You Missing A Critical Update?
There is one update that is screaming for an update that you might be overlooking though—YOU!!! Yes, I understand. I could be talking about learning new skills or becoming more technologically savvy, but I am not talking about that.
I am talking about you! You know, the person standing in front of the mirror everyday.
With the speed picking up all around us, we sometimes miss the most important update. All the technology and innovations, without an updated operator, it is all a waste.
How often are you checking your internal processor, your system for an update? How is life going? How are your relationships? How is your career development, finances, and spiritual life? I could go on and on.
HOW ARE YOU DOING?
Notice that checking for an update is not the same as installing an update though. You might notice the strain and hurdles of life, but what are you doing right now to improve or develop in those situations?
The investment you put into your development and improvement has more staying power than any hard/technical skill you will develop. I can’t state enough to businesses, employees rarely get fired for their lack of technical skills, but rather their soft skills. It is nearly always a character issue. And it’s the character of a person that detects their growth pattern. Invest in updating your character, soft skills, and ability to live a fruitful life and watch the growth happen.
iSelf Needs An Update
Corny? Sure, but you probably still need an update.
As easy as it is to update our devices and technology, do not overlook the update you need on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis. Your iSelf error notification is not going off because you need more stuff, it is going off because of a misalignment or operator error. UPDATE YOU!
